GNOME Shell Wallpaper

Looks like Fedora 15 has finally decided to go ahead with its own wallpaper for the GNOME Shell. When I updated my F15 system today this is what is now the default wallpaper instead of the default upstream GNOME3 Shell wavy blue wallpaper.

I agree. It is the best wallpaper since Fedora 8 (for me, the most good-looking of all Fedoras). There are also other wallpapers via Control Center that are new and quite beautiful also.

This wallpaper is overwritten by one of the latest updates! But you will find it in /usr/share/backgrounds/lovelock/default. You can change the gdm-wallpaper by replacing the file in /var/lib/gdm/.cache/wallpaper/

It's very nice, yet also slightly strange. Perfect for GNOME 3.0 then!

i prefer that wallpaper than the default Gnome3 wallpaper that was made for Gnome3 , however im waiting for Gnome3 RC to all land in yum

There is a plymouth update that is new in koji, contains a new theme, spinner.
Kinda simple and isn't set as the system default theme, so you'd have to update,
install that extra theme and do "plymouth-set-default-theme -R spinner" in order
to try it out. Isn't much, as I said, but it beats looking at that charge theme one
more time.

about time that somebody decided to change that butt ugly (sorry about the insult to all the butts out there) wallpaper in gnome3! :D
