How do I change things like themes or power settings and that kind of thing, in Gnome 3?
I keep getting locked out of my desktop if I leave it a while :(

you can change the gnome lock settings below System Settings -> Screen.
If gnome shell is active you can find System Settings below the menu which you get when you click on your name at the top right hand corner.

Thanks for that Fenrin :-)
Yes, Gnome Shell is active. Sorry I should have mentioned that (I'm not sure what everything's called yet).
I didn't find screensaver yet, or themes, but I'll keep looking.
I have to say I like Gnome Shell so far. Very polished looking. Quick to access and quick to load anything too :-)

There is no theme changing UI (for now at least). I hope there will be for 3.2.

However, it's not really a problem because few (if any) themes have been ported to GTK+ 3.x.

How do you get to System Settings? It isn't in amongst these damnable icons.

Please read more thoroughly what Fenrin wrote. He explained it quite straightforward: "you can find System Settings inside the menu which you get when you click on your name at the top right hand corner."

Ah, I see :)
That would explain why I can't find it then!
Thank you.
