I have FC14 on a Dell tower, hosting SMB and NFS servers - no login is active on the box.

However, even with the network activity to the SMB/NFS servers, the powersave settings (ie put machine in hibernate mode after 30mins of inactivity) kick in. That means that my SMB/NFS clients suddenly find that their server is not available as the server has put itself in hibernation mode.

Is there a way to get the powersave settings to recognise the network activity so it doesn't hibernate.

The Dell bios is set to wake on lan but that means I still need to send it the magic packet.
