Webcam installation

Hi, can you help me... I am a new user and i need to install my webcam. I am using DELL XPS laptop. Can anyone help me? Thank you.:confused:

You tried using the following?

Applications->Sound & Video->Cheese Webcam Booth

Howdy,

It is kinda wonky, but if you install Cheese or Camorama, then the webcam should work. Those applications will pull in all the required drivers and libraries.

However, if you install both Cheese and Camorama, then you may have a problem again. So don't do that...

My web cam is showing upside down. usinging web cheese. bulit-in web cam on ASUS lap-top.
Any where i can solve this problem.

In Cheese, click on Effects. Then click on Vertical Flip. Then click Effects again.
