I have not been able to find a way to add a printer on myF15 install from dvd (64bit)

Hello ovadyah

Not sure about F15 specifically, but the usual Fedora process would be either to install "system-config-printer":

yum install system-config-printer

or through the cups web interface in your browser:

http://localhost:631
