Hello,
Is there a solution for the right clicking issue using touchpad on HP ProBook 4420s? For some reason mine doesn't seem to work and clicking area is treated as a part of touchpad.
Thanks.
This is Fedora 14 - 64-bit.

I'm on i386 arch and I think that I can't build 64 bit rpms without installing all tree of dependent 64 bit rpms.
Try to compile an rpm package yourself. It's not that complicated. Run:
rpmbuild --rebuild xorg-x11-drv-synaptics-1.3.99.901-3.fc14.src.rpm
It will tell what packages are required for the build, and then install those missing packages using yum install, and the run the rpmbuild again.

Looks like the error and fix reports are for HP mini. It doesn't work for the HP ProBook 4420s. Sigh! :(

Thanks kazysmaster. This fix works me after building the package for my 64-bit Fedora.
NaveenT, what is the problem you get with the patch? Are you on 32 or 64 bit?

I guess the mistake was mine. I didn't notice an error when I tried applying the patch for the first time. There was some missing package (I don't remember the name of it though) that had to be applied before applying the fix. Now, it works just fine. Thanks for the help.
Cheers! :)
