I've done some searching and solutions seem to suggest that there have been some changes to the way PA handles itself.
How do I get rid of it?

I've done some searching and solutions seem to suggest that there have been some changes to the way PA handles itself.
How do I get rid of it?
You can remove it using "yum remove pulseaudio" and then rebooting. However, the audio
manager entry remains on the appications->sound & video menu.
