well, i've just found some torrents on suprnova.org, fc3 final, they say. I'm dld'ing them but ... before i would do anything with them i would like to get the md5sums for these iso's.
does any1 knows anything about them? are they real?

I saw those also. There is no info on who they are from, so buyer beware. I have a test box at home that I will try them on.
The link for the brave is http://66.90.75.92/suprnova//torrents/2970/FC3_i386_CD1-4.torrent

well.. when sneaking around in some of the mirrors you can find the 3 directory on a few, and some you can even enter :)

I'll be a bit surprised if all the mirrors go live with it tomorrow. I think I'll hold tight until I see a rsync mirror that has the distribution tree online. I'm not a big ISO fan since I usually do network installs from my server.

I'll check this one out once i can get my hands on it... don't have a whole lot of FC2 experience yet but that way i can learn with FC3 ;)

The Links on suprnova are only the RC of Fedora, NOT the Final. Its been named wrong.

The RC may be very close to the final, but its not the final im afraid

If you dont believe me, then look here ( Note the RC!) its not final..... Dated 29th October

I can't find any working mirrors and it's 12:22am US Eastern time here. So I guess they don't literally mean Nov 8th first thing but sometime on Nov 8th..

update -> I found somewhere that says the mirrors open Monday Nov 8th 3:00pm EST

I believe the release is on America based time lines.

Patience everyone! Fedora 3 will come in due time.

One wonders where all the complaints about Fedora releasing too fast come from. Apparently the schedule is not fast enough for some people. :)

I believe the release is on America based time lines.

...or perhaps it is released when it becomes 08/11 on the late side of the international date line. That would seem to fit with the ~10am (EST) release.

Just remember to leave those bit-torrent clients up and running for the rest of us... 3 hours and not even 1/2 way yet.
