I don't understand your question. Files are bigger than 700 MB if they contain more than 700MB of data.

I'm not sure I understand your question. What files are you referring to?
Since you quote the value 700 Mb I am tempted to assume you mean the Fedora live cd iso's.
If so Fedora 14 is less than 700Mb, one of the earlier live CD was larger than this, but I believe the intention was for an install from USB instead of CD.
Okay, I just noticed that this is in rawhide and that their appear to be some F15 nightlies are available. In this case the answer is different. Looking at :http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/Releases/Rawhide#Who_should_use_Rawhide.3F give the following answer
"These are built automatically without manual tweaking or testing, so they will sometimes be beyond the size of a single CD, and sometimes may not work at all."

Looks like I edited at the same time as you replied. Just glance at the bottom of my previous post.

Today blank CD's are available up to 900MB, further you can burn the image to a DVD, usb flash drives are also available for moderate payment, so I think it doesn't matter..?!
However, maybe I've even missunderstood something..:C
