I have a problem here with my updated kernel..

I'm currently using Fedora 14 kernel 2.6.35.9-64, and my wireless card Broadcom BCM4312, which had an issue before with Linux distros, is working fine already, thanks to the kmod-wl software driver.

My problem now is this, after updating to kernel 2.6.35.10-72, fedora does not boot, and I noticed that the wireless card is the only thing not activating, compared to the working kernel. And when i looked at the log of the bootup (pressed right arrow key), I saw this:

Starting udev: udevd-work[497]: '/sbin/modprobe -bv acpi:ENE0100:' unexpected exit with status 0x0009

Does anyone ave a solution to this?

Thank you and merry christmas to everyone.

I am having the same issue, I wish I didn't start another post and searched better. Yeah I have to roll back during post to get my wireless to work.

Update again, kernel .10-74 is now available and reportedly fixes the boot problem. You might also install akmod-wl as the kmods aren't always available at the same time a new kernel comes out.
Mike

Edit: The current one is akmod-wl 5.60.48.36-2fc14.1

Solution is in the RPM Fusion repo site I downloaded the appropriate kernel of kmod-wl and it is fixed and I am running the latest build without issue finally*
