Closed as a duplicate of 2009. I got nothing :(

OK, just kidding. A CD - George Harrison All Things Must Pass, a Clapton DVD - Crossroads 2010 and some clothing. Oh, and a book. The Complete Works of Shakspeare. All about fishing rods and reels far as I can tell. No pictures though. :D

I just had breakfast. I've been collecting things since November. Don't think I'll have anything to open up this morning. But I still have my family all under one roof. That is present enough for me this year. :D

---------- Post added at 12:39 PM ---------- Previous post was at 11:00 AM ----------

O.K. I got a SanDisk mp3 Player (8g capacity) and a 2 year subscription....can say to what on here cause it's political in nature. But it is a nice package all together. :D

I got a inexpesive video card as an upgrade to the integrated video in this thing: It's an EVGA GT220, good enough for Second Life:

http://www.amazon.com/EVGA-nVidia-GeForce-PCI-Express-01G-P3-1226-LR/dp/B002SG7LUQ

And new power supply so I could use it. I actually figured if I got a card it'd be the cheaper (and not as good) EVGA GT 210

They're both installed and working fine, or I couldn't be posting this.

Also Fallout New Vegas (PS3 version) as a gift. (makes the third year in a row for a Fallout gift) and Sacred 2 (PS3 version which I decided to pick up cheap buying something for a family friend)

And marshmallow santas...lots of marshmallow santss, which are the most important thing.

A GIANT bucket of coal and a letter stating just how bad I was this past year along with where to find the smaller chunks of coal!

No just kidding. A Swiss Victorinox(4Gb), DeWALT 3/8" drill and all accessories, remote control organizer, numerous shirts, Columbia tool set similar to the Swiss Vic, Maglite, customized (Sharpie marker, refills & case) and illuminated range targets.

So I guess that bucket of coal really wasn't full of coal after all!

I was really naughty this year, so I expected coal. This was my "environmentally friendly" substitute.

Sounds warm. The sweaters, anyway. Now you just need a snazzy little over-priced Macbook and a pair of Birkenstocks, and you're ready for a quality evening over at the Starbucks wifi hotspot. <..:D..>

As I don't care for or celebrate christmas, getting nothing doesn't bother me. In fact I much prefer it. It was quite a strain yesterday putting on a fake smile while replying to people who wished me "melly chlistmas" :p

Most of my customers know I hate this time of year so I think they did it deliberately to wind me up! I'll get my own back on them, I'll put Tabasco in their beer :D

Not sure we can do the wifi thing here... no real starbux in this town. :)

Lots of other great local coffee shops though! :D

Also, hello! It's my first post on here. You might recognise my name from elsewhere on the interwebs.

I made off with a couple nice button downs shirts this year but no material thing could come close to the joy of having the kids home from college, soldiers home from war, and the time spent gathering around the fire after Christmas supper and singing Christmas carols and the young ones doing skits. Not to mention the general comradery of having so many family members and friends under one roof. (about 20-25 this year)

I honestly feel very blessed this year!

My eldest is back home from university for the holidays. Unfortunately, I haven't had time to get up to see him. I've been working through the holiday. Was hoping to get up to see him on Tuesday but will have to go to the doctor in the morning for the result of my blood test and get another supply of medication. Looks like I won't have time till Friday! Thursday is my last day of business for the year so I'll be busy Wednesday and Thursday :(

He'll be flying out again on the fourth and I have been coerced into an overnight trip on the same day by my current PIA...

Might explain why I'm not in a charitable mood this year (considerably less charitable than usual festive holidays) :D

A 5KW generator... Does it count as a gift when she buys it with my visa? I guess the gf has had her fill of power outages. We've been three for three (+100mm of rain, +40mm of rain, +40cm of snow in three weeks).

Wow... I'm feeling blessed compared to you guys!

I got an electric drill, chorded as my cordless one doesn't hold a charge worth beans, a book on jQuery, the Advanced Players Guide for the Pathfinder (table-top) RPG and other stuff.

Got some other fun things like a keychain light, eyeglass repair kit and sponges to wash the car from my kids. I guess I deserve the last one since if I'm asking if they've done everything (or if they say they're bored) I ask them if they've washed my car yet. :D

It really wasn't a Christmas gift, but I did receive last Monday, the 20th, the Google Chrome OS Cr-48 Notebook! Been having fun with that, but a whole week has gone by so I'm reading up on the documentation to install Ubuntu dual-boot (still looking for Fedora).

More importantly, though, the kids had a good Christmas, and got to spend some time with one brother and Skyped with the other.

Then the blizzard hit and the office was closed on Monday!

Actually, I told a wee lie! I did receive ONE gift from a friend/customer. A small (330ml) bottle of Belgian beer :D I'd almost forgotten about it as I still haven't drunk the bottle of Brew Dog IPA I was given last month for my birthday from another friend/customer :p

Got the results from my latest blood test and it's safe to drink them. Everything is normal or slightly lower and the doctor advised me to eat a little more red meat to build up my iron. I've been almost vegetarian for the last few months so that was a good present!

Down from 83Kg to 67Kg!
