Hi,

I've just updated a machine from FC13 to FC14 using yum method. PC has a Gigabyte BX2000 (Intel 440BX based) motherboard, 1999 vintage, with a PS/2 keyboard. Keyboard was working fine with FC13, after update to FC14 (Kernel 2.6.35.9-64.fc14.i686.PAE) keyboard OK in Grub, then no response after boot. Machine otherwise running FC14 OK, logged in remotely and made change to boot command to add

i8042.nopnp=1 i8042.dumbkbd=1

as suggested in other threads, this was a good workaround as keyboard now working. Still one issue though, which is that Num/Caps/Scroll LEDs do not toggle to reflect mode changes.

Can anyone provide pointers on where to look for any issues that could be due to the upgrade?

I have run yum upgrade to get all the current packages.

If I need to raise a bug please advise what details are needed.

Regards,
John
