Hi , does anyone can help me to configure tvtuner on Fedora 14. I have an old analog tv tuner with saa7134 chipset and trying to connect it with cable tv, after quick google-ing i read that the driver for this model are included in the kernel by default, but when i open tvtime i get the following error:
20367
What should i do to make my tvtuner work? thanks in advance :)

hi xpzion, it seems that my card is not listed there. the brand is Telebit PCI FM7133
so i choose card=0 for UNKNOWN/GENERIC but still i can't get my tvtuner to work.
also if it's not listed there does it mean Linux doesn't support my card yet?
EDIT:
i think im making progress by choosing card=61 (Philips TOUGH DVB-T reference design)
i can change input configuration in tv time now, composite and s-video
what should i do now? i don't know how to get channel list :(

You got to try until you find the right one.
also you can try modprobe saa7134 card=x tuner=y
y= tuners list kerneldocstuners (http://www.kernel.org/doc/Documentation/video4linux/CARDLIST.tuner)
Good Luck
