DAG Wieers RPM Build for FC2 can be found Below
http://dag.wieers.com/packages/xpde/xpde-0.4.0-1.1.fc2.test.i386.rpm
(This is a test build, please use at own risk)

I think they have done a pretty good job though.
What do you think ?

They did a pretty good job. I think this is good for new users, but it could also get someone into a lot of trouble by copyright. Can there be a copyright on the way something looks like this??

hehe, didnt expect people to hop to it so quickly, Im at work.. hold let me see what I can find...

Checkout the /usr/share/doc/xpde-0.4.0/install document, you obviously dont need to worry about the Building of the code, but could have some tips on intergrating it into you XWindows Env.

Im only looking in the rpm on system with no XWindows (Server), but I can see /etc/X11/gdm/Sessions/xpde in the package. This should allow you to load the Env through GDM, if you loading your system with run level 5.

Looks to be as if it works best with KDE, some of the Menu link are for things like KEdit, and KPaint.
