I'm really getting confused.

I installed kernel 2.6.9-rc4 last week. Linux announced 2.6.10-rc1. I installed FC3T3. Yum updates bumped this to 2.6.9-1.640. Now we have a new release candidate for FC3 ? Is this called FC3-rc1? Can someone summarize the changes in all of these versions ? I think I'll need diffs on change logs !

Did I mention that yum/up2date pulled down 340 package updates to FC3T3 ! Is there any chance that we can access the updates for FC3-RC1 via yum and get it without reinstalling ? I'm just getting FC3T3 to where I want it.

Is the rescue CD the thing that allows you to install Fedora by downloading the files and whatnot?

Possibly the package has been modified with the latest version. FC3T3 is only for testing to find bugs. This candidate release is probably for testing on different system and different motherboard. Don't forget Red Hat kernel include some of official kernel patches.

I had it installed on my Laptop. I did a clean install with everything selected. It comes with kde, gnome and xfce. I had not errors with selinux enabled, synaptics touch pad works fine and not problems to report yet. :D
