View Full Version : F14 LXDE live-usb brightness problem on netbook

Gooday,

this is my first thread and post. I need help from all of you. I'm create F14 LXDE live-usb using unetbootin and boot in my Asus Eee PC 1001P. It can boot as usual. But the problem is, i can't adjust the brightness using Fn+F5 or F6 as default in keyboard. The screen totally dark. Thanks in advance

What do you mean by totally dark? Do you get to the login screen or is it is totally dark in the sense of a black screen without anything to see on it.

Can you give some details on your hardware?

As a starting point, you should try the workarounds suggested in the Common Bugs section:

ok, ive just found, xbacklight but no GUI
