scrolling in Firefox is discontinuous

I am having problem with Firefox 3.6.10 and fc14.

Scrolling is not continuous but goes by steps.

It used to work fine so far with fc13 and scrolling is still very continuous using konqueror on the same http pages.

(I have a Dell precision M6300 machine. The laptop is very fast.)

Hi,
If I recall the M6300 has a nvidia card, which drivers do you have installed?

I get this on my laptop with the nouveau drivers; If i install the Nvidia drivers the problem disappears (except on goggle image search occasionally.)

The graphic card is a Quadro FX 1600M and I use the nvidia driver.

I have just found out an option named "use smooth scrolling" in the Settings menu.
This option was checked (I don't know since when...).

I disabled it and it is OK now.

Cheers, that's made the goggle images scrolling so much better.
