Im fairly new to using fedora so it might just be my ignorance but

I tried to install updates today and i get an error, says download failed check internet connection,
this also happens when i try to install other things.

I tried installing GIMP, both through the gui and using "yum install gimp" and neither worked

my internet connection seems fine, as i am using it to write this.
so does anyone have any ideas what im doing wrong?

when i try to install/update through the gui i get a message saying

"The package download failed, please check your network connectivity"

i hit more details and it says

"Errors were encountered while downloading packages.
selinux-policy-targeted-3.7.19-57.fc13.noarch: failure: selinux-policy-targeted-3.7.19-57.fc13.noarch.rpm from updates: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
selinux-policy-3.7.19-57.fc13.noarch: failure: selinux-policy-3.7.19-57.fc13.noarch.rpm from updates: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try.
yum-3.2.28-4.fc13.noarch: failure: yum-3.2.28-4.fc13.noarch.rpm from updates: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try."

when i do the GIMP install through the terminal it cycles through a bunch or mirrors like this example

"http://mirror.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/mirror/fedora/linux/updates/13/i386/gimp-libs-2.6.10-1.fc13.i686.rpm: [Errno 14] HTTP Error 404 : http://mirror.cpsc.ucalgary.ca/mirror/fedora/linux/updates/13/i386/gimp-libs-2.6.10-1.fc13.i686.rpm
Trying other mirror."

then it says

"Error Downloading Packages:
2:gimp-2.6.10-1.fc13.i686: failure: gimp-2.6.10-1.fc13.i686.rpm from updates: [Errno 256] No more mirrors to try."

Okay. The problem is that the mirror is down.
