I'd like to find out if the kernel in Fedora 14 will come with usb audio version 2. This module will allow for asynchronous usb which is good for use in audio (external usb dacs)
I think the code for this is really new so I'm not sure when this will be out.

I read that if your kernel has "include/linux/usb/audio-v2.h" it will work.
Searching my 18.104.22.168-46 kernel source from Updates Testing has this file, and searching the config for DAC comes up with "SuperH DAC audio support (SOUND_SH_DAC_AUDIO)".
You might want to visit LinuxMusicians if you haven't already, they have lots of resources and a forum.
