try adding "nomodeset" argument to kernel line

that will just result in it using vesa, which is the same as doing a low resolution install.

if you switch back to the nouveau driver after install (rename /etc/X11/xorg.conf to /etc/X11/xorg.conf.vesa or something, and remove 'nomodeset' from the kernel parameters), does it work, or fail the same way? If it fails, can you file a bug:

? Thanks!

Oh, but before that, try RC1 instead - it's much newer and has some nouveau fixes. http://serverbeach1.fedoraproject.org/pub/alt/stage/14.RC1/
