I need the help of the masters once again..
I'm running F11, but for all I know, this could apply to any version..
I connect to a Win-Vista machine and browse my folders(shares) just fine. It does prompt me to log in (authenticate) and entering stuff other than my password and username (as if logging into the Vista machine) does block the shares.
It gives this error in the details area while trying to copy a single file:
Error while getting peer-to-peer dbus connection: Did not receive a reply. Possible causes include: the remote application did not send a reply, the message bus security policy blocked the reply, the reply timeout expired, or the network connection was broken.
As an aside.. I'm running this on a fairly 'old' server, it's a dual xeon 2.4ghz 1gb ram. It has the same ati rage card that ever server seems to have, which is no longer supported by the core here anymore (grr!!!) so I can't use any fancy desktop enhancements on it (grr again!!!). I'm wondering if this server would be enough power to run F13/14?
But that's all aside the point.. It's inability to successfully copy files from win-based machines is a real problem with it's overall goal in life. Really hoping someone can help, offer input, something on this problem. Thanks,
Roostie
