I have just upgraded to a gigabyte 7s748L mobo with an AMD processor (Semprom 2800+) and am quite satisified with it. The 748L is a socket A so it will take quite a variety of AMD processors and it is quite cheap. It does NOT have onboard video, but it does have onboard sound which is what I was looking for. You can check it out on the gigabyte site.

The socket A has just about been developed as far as it will be so if you are looking for something to upgrade to a 64 bit processor, you should think about something else. But for the money, my opinion is that it's hard to beat the price on one of these combos.

It was also a breeze to install FC2 on this system...no problems at all...so far ;)

Good luck.
