Thanks for taking the time to read my question.

I am trying to do an update on my Fedora 11 server by su root then running yum update. This has worked well in the past, but for the last while, all I get is

[root@localhost brad]# yum update
Loaded plugins: refresh-packagekit
adobe-linux-i386 | 951 B 00:00
updates/metalink | 18 kB 00:00
Setting up Update Process
No Packages marked for Update
[root@localhost brad]#

Are there no more updates?

Thanks,

Brad

F11 went End of Life earlier in the year. There will be no more updates. Fedora only supports with updates the current and previous version so F12 will go the same way before the end of the year.

Thanks for the very quick reply!

So am I able to update without messing up any of my settings? I'm not that great at setting up my server, and it took me a long time to get F11 to work for me.

Just to add. You'll also be able to install anything that is already available in the current repositories. Those repositories will eventually disapear at which point you'll need to seek alternatives. http://archive.fedoraproject.org/pub will probably have the F11 repositories at some point if they aren't there yet.

you can always try to save all settings folders in your home directory (the ones starting with a .) and /etc/. I'd say most settings are in one of those places. after a fresh install, you can copy them back and see if anything is broken...
