I have spent hours trying to coax samba into sharing one folder on FC3T# and it will simply not make it available. I had a really basic smb.conf file for a while, then I used the default one, then I made this scrap simple one:

workgroup = WKG
netbios name = MYNAME
[share1]
path = /export/samba/test
[global]
workgroup = WKG
netbios name = MYNAME
[share1]
path = /export/samba/test
