How can I set permissions for users within the share?
Example:
I have a share called Programming and some user can create folders within it most others can not, can read the documents.
How do I set permissions?

Hello,

you could try to add to smb.conf
valid users = user1 user2
May be a group option not sure google it.

also may need to look at the permission of the directory
