Is it possible to set BCM4312 (14e4:4315) to master mode? I can't do that with my current driver (broadcom-wl).
# lspci -vnn | grep 14e4
07:00.0 Network controller [0280]: Broadcom Corporation BCM4312 802.11b/g LP-PHY [14e4:4315] (rev 01)
# iwconfig wlan0 mode master
Error for wireless request "Set Mode" (8B06) :
SET failed on device wlan0 ; Invalid argument.
I just got an android phone and i want it to use my laptop's internet connection (android do not support ad-hoc networking, at least in unrooted state).
Any help is appreciated.
