I contacted Frozen-Bubble for support on a patch they have on their site for the HASH issue. I asked Nicely "where do we apply the patch ?" Below is the response I got from them.

Contact your vendor.

My response to this answer;

> WOW! Good answer. The patch is on the Frozen-Bubble web site; what would
> my vendor have to do with it ?

Listen, I took time to put the patch on the website. Now try to
seek help where it is, your vendor, your friends, your dog,
whatever. I'm not gonna do the full job for you. Good night.

Bottom line don't waste your time with Frozen-Bubble's support or their game !!! :mad:

I am sure that software developers get tons of e-mail asking for support, so I understand why they may be a bit upset, but to be so nasty is kinda of counter productive. They could at least have a auto response for support questions, or make it clear they don not provide support of anykind.

If you look at the patch (http://www.frozen-bubble.org/perl-SDL.patch) it has the file frozen-bubble in it. That's the main script, in /usr/bin.

The main script is basically the only text file anyway.

Edit: I patched /usr/bin/frozen-bubble and it works. No recompile needed.

Don't bother developers with support questions. Developers tend to love to do development, not support.

For support on how to do stuff, come to support resources, like this forum.

Think about it, imagine you were a developer, using your free time to get things done, and you get 50 emails a day asking how to run the thing. If you want developers to develop, leave the support bit to the support forums. like this one.
