I have been using the Fedora 13 security spin with a lot of satisfaction.. and I am really overwhelmed by the quality of work being put up..

This thread is to request information on a very hideous subject. I am an Electronics and Instrumentation Student, and I am studying ladder logic and PLC based control systems. I am really disheartened to see that all the PLC manufacturers make the GUI simulators for only windows platforms. and after searching a lot of third party repositories I haven't come across a single Linux application for this job. I wish to do my project using Fedora and PLC. I request the community to please help me out in this situation. Kindly guide me to a solution. I will be really thankful. I have been happily married to Fedora for some time now, and I do not want a divorce just for this.
Please help me out.

Thanks and regards.

Hi,
I can run classicladder on F13. It has a simulator mode,

I have loaded Proview in a Debian KVM under Fedora13, and its a full blown
PLC & SCADA Package from
http://www.proview.se/

A good list of software is at http://linuxscada.info/
