Interesting... I installed the new F14 fedora-release this morning, and this afternoon yum wants to update me back to F15 rawhide. Is that supposed to happen?

I don't see Fedora rawhide in there anywhere. :)

Hello,
Looks like yum is trying to update you to F15 and not update F14,
Must be something in yum repos that has a pointer to F15

rpmfusion-free-rawhide RPM Fusion for Fedora Rawhide - Free 529
rpmfusion-free-rawhide-debuginfo RPM Fusion for Fedora Rawhide - Free - Debug 188
rpmfusion-nonfree-rawhide RPM Fusion for Fedora Rawhide - Nonfree 181

Just found this post

I noticed the RPMFusion rawhide, but they didn't fork F13 for weeks after Fedora forked it. If I recall correctly, they handled their repos differently than Fedora. Besides, nothing in RPMFusion should affect fedora-release. This bears those observations out:

[gene@Mobile-PC RPMS]$ sudo yum --disablerepo=* --enablerepo=fedora \
--enablerepo=updates-testing --skip-broken update

Even with just fedora and updates-testing enabled, I'm offered a mix of fc14 and fc15 packages, all from the F14 fedora release repo. Maybe I need to do something drastic to my yum db?

I read on the devel list that this is being fixed as soon as a mirrormanager admin looks at it. Known problem. Geez, am I the only one stickin' with rawhide?

I think GoinEasy9 has it right:

(see Jesse Keating's reply)

Yeah, all is well now. And I managed to get the python/boost update installed.
