View Full Version : Swap not working

I'm still looking for advice on getting swap working in FC3t3. While booting, "Enabling local filesystem quotas" hangs. Ctl-C gets past that and the system works fine, but no swap. That means I can only run two or three proggies before one gets killed to free up memory. It's getting irritating. I'm almost tempted to buy another 512M until I figure it out.

It's a plain FC3t3 x86_64 install. With a clean install and nothing extra, I still get that error about quotas and no swap.

EDIT: well, I turned on swap via mkswap/swapon. Not sure why swap wasn't on initially, but hopefully this takes care of it. I'll know the next time I have to reboot the system.

Found a page on filesystem quotas. Not sure what they heck is going on. Must be something new to t3 that they are still working the bugs out of.
