The Fedora version of this thing has never worked for me.
My last go at it was with the F12 version.
Searched the forum and apparently this is still unresolved.
The only solution I have is to boot windows and run that version which does work!
Does anyone have this working?

I have used the liveusb-creator in F12 and installed the Fedora 13 design.iso to a 4GB usb flash drive and replying to this post from it running from a Sony VAIO laptop. Yesterday I used liveusb-creator in a F13 box to write the Fedora 13 live x86_64 iso to another 4GB flash drive and then used it to install to a Emachine desktop.
One of the flash drives was a H-P brand and the other a PNY "attache" they both were formatted as FAT32 and both were given a 2047MB persistent overlay.
I have used liveusb-creator since it came out and will admit that there were a few times early on there would arise a problem. Also you could try unetbootin as it is in the repo or run "livecd-iso-to-disk" from a terminal, that's how I always done it before the gui app came out and it always worked for me. :)

Well both of mine are PNY attache the one I tried was 4G.
It worked fine on Win7 and has never worked on Fedora which blows my mind...
I tried the security spin and the live version of F13 neither worked.
I used the persistent overlay of 2047, the stick was formated FAT 32
I must be jinxed!
Thanks for the feedback... I'm just frustrated that I have to leave Fedora to get the job done.
You would think the native version would work the best.
