I was planning on making a live usb with the fedora 13 alpha on it but I have a few questions. Firstly, can I install updates just like a normal installation? Secondly how big of a flash drive do you recommend. I read http://fedoraproject.org/wiki/FedoraLiveCD/USBHowTo but I couldn't find the answers to these questions.
Thanks

Hi,
As for your first question I am not sure, and as for the second question I suggest something of at least 1GB. Since F8 I've been creating liveUSBs in 1GB drives and they work fine, I don't see why they can not work in F13. Of course if you intend to update the system and do stuff on it you might want a bigger USB drive.
Good luck,
Joe.

Hi,
Both your questions are answered in that wiki page. See the section on system requirements and data persistence.

The wiki is technically correct, but in my experience, I end up wanting to install too many updates, so I run out of space and/or corrupt the persistent storage file. My solution was to get a higher capacity USB stick and do a full install onto it.
