You can install Tomcat using yum.
su -c 'yum install tomcat'
To show all available tomcat packages use
yum list tomcat*
Java, on the other hand, has always been, and remains, somewhat of a mystery to me. Seems a necessary evil at best.

Glennzo,

Thanks for the Tomcat installation instrucitons.
As u said Java installation remains a mystery. Been scratching my head since a couple of days....

But the problem here is without Java I can't configure Tomcat and other environments which are needed developing Adobe FLEX apps....

The Tomcat web site has no instructions for installation?

Checked the Tomcat site, Java is a pre-requisite for its installation...... :-(

Fedoraunity (http://fedorasolved.org/browser-solutions/sun-jdk) is one of many sites providing instructions on how to install Java SDK on Fedora, but you'll find many more by searching these forums...

How about an rpm with instructions on java.com.
