OMG the install program is sooo nice on it now. I installed on my old P4 system. It has 7600GS and I STILL DON"T HAVE A SINGLE CARD THAT WORKS NOUVEAU 3d. Grrrr. And I'm not buying an ATI till I know it will work right away.
The new looks are fantastic and the way gnome works with files is just about perfect. I hate the new window dragger though. It's twitchy and you usually end up sliding off the window and grabbing window behind it.
Anaconda still doesn't set up your disks right for grub to dual boot.
But the disk utility is PERFECTION. They need to just move some of the dangerous options off behind a dangerous things to do menu.

BTW is btrfs not finished I never saw it as an install option.

Btrfs is still considered experimental, as far as I know. Pass "icantbelieveitsnotbtr" at the installation boot prompt and you are able to use it.

Hi,

You will have to do that with a regular installation dvd/cd set FYI.. The default filesystem cannot be changed in a Live image installation.

I've never used a live installation cd. I've always used the full install dvd's. Still didn't see it as an option. But will give it a go if they put it on beta install.

Hi

Pass "icantbelieveitsnotbtr" at the installation boot prompt as you have already been told. That would enable it.

Rahul,
Did you notice that all your recent posts are doubling?

Brtfs is showing 80 percent complete. But it says they will have migration tool for ext3 and ext4 partitions. So I guess we get to test all those later.

I believe the parameter has changed or will soon change from 'icantbelieveitsnotbtr' to just 'btrfs'. Just for information.
