gnote crashes

what if you Disable ABRT, does gnote still crash?

That's an interesting question Demz, since I'm having a long lag during boot that ends when abrtd comes up.
Four lines from my messages file:

Still having a problem with debug-install, but, gnote crashes for me also when trying to open a new note. there's also https://bugzilla.redhat.com/show_bug.cgi?id=568905 which came up during first boot after install.

Interesting, when I disable abrtd, there is no lag during boot, gnote on the other hand still segfaults.
