View Full Version : Revisor produces corrupt comps.xml in iso

I have almost got revisor working how I would expect, however the final ISO contains a corrupt comps.xml.

Does anyone have any advice on how the comps.xml file is created with revisor so I can troubleshoot it?

Has anyone seen this type of behaviour before?

The creating repo data stage takes longer than expected. A small cutting from the comp.xml found in the finished ISO below. Total trashed!

Does anyone know which packages are used to create the comps.xml during the ceation of an ISO?

I have one system that is working well but every system I build with the method I have produces the same corrupt comps.xml results.

I suspect it is the wway i am installing revisor so will check my repos to see where i am pulling revisor in from and its depenacies.

I've personally have never been able to get revisor to work properly, it's a real piece if you ask me, I figured it would improve over time but it somehow manages to fail in a different way every time I try it.

As far as how it does what it does, it's open source so you can always look at the code. ;)

Or you might consider contacting someone at the Fedora Unity Project, I *think* they may be using revisor to do their re-spins.
