Hi
I've been trying to get my wireless to work on fedora but every time i connect it goes really slow. I used to use Fedora 12 KDE where the wlan used to go slow and cut so I used this http://etherplex.org/archives/141 which fixed it but since i reformated it with gnome today that fix doesn't seem to work.

When i plug the network cable in though it works fine, I think I'm using an Atheros AR928x, the connecting also works fine and using WPA2

Thanks for any help provided. :)

Hello trustnoone,

Well, I don't really know what you mean by "reformated it with gnome", but maybe the kernel got updated, too. That link of yours "which fixed it" was about compiling a driver from source code. It's not uncommon for a new kernel to require the driver to be recompiled.

Hi
I think I did recompile it, because I went through all the instructions again since I put gnome on the computer but still no luck :(.
I reformatted it as in I used to have Fedora KDE installed but I put in the Fedora Live CD an wrote over the existing linux partion with Fedora gnome.
Thanks
