I am trying to install F12 KDE from the live CD on to an Intel motherboard with built in graphics card.

The live cd loads till it reaches the login screen. when It tries to login from there it crashes and returns to the login screen. I believe it is the xServer crashing from what i've read.

How do I get it to work so that I can install it.

Currently the system is running the F12 gnome

Thanks

Did you check the checksum before you burned the image onto a cd?

I added vesa to the boot options but it has no effect. maybe i should try aquire the DVD with all the software for F12
