Newbie here and I have a few questions about pcmcia. I am running fedora core 2 with a Cisco Aironet 340 wireless card. My questions are:

1. Why does Fedora attempt to bring up eth1 (Cisco wireless card) before bring up pcmcia?

2. For some reason I am unable to get IP information from my Linksys wap 11 router but I get resolv.conf properly. What could possibly be misconfigured?

Also I installed dhcpcd instead of using dhclient.

Oh and eth0 (3com nic) is able to get IP information via dhcp through the linksys, does dhcpcd handle getting info for two interfaces?

If you need more info let me know and take it easy on a newbie!

Also

Does Fedora Core 2 support ISA? The Cisco 340 is not a cardbus so it must be ISA.

I'm kinda stuck here if anyone can point me in the right direct.

Hmmm...

Maybe you can clarify a bit for me. Is your 3com plugged into your linksys? If not then it would not be receiving a dhcp address. It is likely that you previously (i.e. before the addition of the pcmcia card) had your 3com as eth0 and now eth0 is your new card.

Could you provide a bit more info to help out with this?
