I'm not the contributer just saw this link while googling and decided to share.

Boxee is great media center app that has additional social networking features. It is based on XBMC (Xbox Media Center).

For more indepth explanation and comparation between XBMC and Boxee check this out:

I think I saw compile instructions, you can try and compile it yourself... I know it is a pain but still you can try...

These are my Boxee + Fedora links:
http://www.delicious.com/valentt/boxee+fedora

They are a bit stale because I found out that Boxee and XBMC work better on Ubuntu so I my media center is powered by Mythbuntu + XBMC + Boxee, if you can't find a Fedora soulution try using Ubuntu.

First I was big fan of ubuntu but now it suck. Like boxee very much but was unable to compile, gave up and started using xbmc instead.
Compiled xbmc from source and it is rocking.

I used the following link
http://www.erikdejongh.com/index.php/2010/07/installing-xbmc-in-fedora-13centosred-hat-enterprise/

thanks for you help.

Hope boxee realise they need to release rpm for fedora too.

yea tried with rpm also but its happen to be having few broken functionality. Movie scraper was not working properly so do few of the add-ons. It looks to me like a stripped down version.
