Ok here's the setup

Athlon XP2100+
362 Megs of RAM
Maxtar 250 gig hard drive

Winblows XP (arrg)

After finally getting the installation process finished, I found a problem. I can't boot into Linux. I can get XP to boot every time but for some reason I can't get back into Linux. I have not seen the fedora splash screen yet. Windows still boots and works fine. I tried to look at editing the boot.ini file and I was not sure how to add in the linux and there is no l;inux.bin file that I can find. Can anyone out there offer some help with this issue?

Thanks
DAL

did you install GRUB in the MBR when you installed Fedora? If you didnt install a boot loader, you wont be able to boot to Fedora and Windows will automatically assume the role of booting up. Try sticking in the Fedora disc and isntalling GRUB into the MBR and see what happens. Be careful, because if you install it in the wrong place, windows will continue to boot and it still wont see linux. Hope this helps.

I chose to install GRUB but into the begining of the linux partition. If I add it to the MBR it will overrite the windows MBR and I will not be able to run windows again? I may be wrong on that but that is what I thought it was supposed to be. I also did not have the option for LILO only GRUB and then No logon loader.

when installing grub in mbr you can choose during boot what kernel or os you want to boot. on my system i´m using (actually, i´m not using, but i have it :) ) winxp and fedora, grub recognizes windows and gives the opportunity to start windows or linux, as i choose.
