I have Fedora 12 GNOME installed on my system. I want it to share with my friends but they don't have internet connection at their home. So I was thinking of installing all the codecs, essential softwares & making a spin which will let them install & start using it. How can I do this?
I have heard about Revisor but never tried it. Should Revisor help me?

I don't know how to make custom spins. If you made the spin for offline friends, you would still have to worry about getting them updates.

There are ways to keep the files that your machines gets when it updates or installs packages. You can make a repository of these files on a DVD that your friends could use. I say this, boldly, without having done anything like that since FC 6. Perhaps an informed person can gives us some links to the most modern ways of doing it.

I also recall reading in Linux Journal, within the past few years, about a GUI tool that facilitated doing this sort of thing. Anyone remember what that tool is?
