Does anyone know if this is possible which I suppose means ... can grub see an LVM volume to boot a kernel from ?

I read the release notes and there is mention of ext3online utility etc, this all sounds nice but I'd like my /boot on LVM too.

Thinking , thinking........

I suppose I could always just mirror /boot with regular raidtools and make it plenty big enough so that I'll nerver (realistically) need to resize it !

Anyways, would be nice to hear if anyone has tried it.

NO, don't but /boot under LVM.

Your only holding the grub file and a couple kernels, it doesn't need to be that big and you should never have to resize it. Fedora's standard 100MB /boot is more than you'll ever need.
