Here's what I've run into so far with FC3t3 for x86_64 (will head over to bugzilla after this):

- after media test, DVD is no longer recognized. Keeps asking for CD #1.
- hangs at "Enabling local filesystem quotas" until Ctl-C. Boots fine the rest of the way.
- 100% CPU usage in monitor fixed. YAY! I can finally see how much CPU usage REALLY is.
- still doesn't save Volume Control settings (or maybe it's not loading the saved settings). Every reboot requires setting the volume again.
- RedHat Network is still SLOW in getting rpm headers. It's the only part that's slow. Can take up to a minute to get a header. As a result, the first time you get headers, it takes hours to complete.

Edit: after many hours of unstable operation, I finally did a clean reinstall of FC3t3. If you try to update FC3t2 to FC3t3, it won't work... there's something that causes it to crash constantly. Do a complete reinstall, formatting everything but /home. Now that I think about it, update has NEVER worked for me. I wind up doing a clean formatted reinstall for EVERY version of FC that comes out. Nothing else works right.

Yum which now can use apt style repo data performs much faster than up2date since it only downloads the headers for 'potentially' newer / obseleting packages, not the entire repository. In any case, even if rhn can pick an alternate mirror for you it will work much better if you do that yourself and pick the closest mirror to add to your config file.

I updated my main system from RedHat 8 through FC2 rawhide bug testing along the way... it works IF you painstakingly deal with the dependency issues that arise during updates, but yeah fresh installs sure are nice. If you can avoid updates by making backup copies of /etc and /home to reset your configurations easily that is the better method.
