Was wondering how I can install Fedora Core 2 PPC64 found here:

http://mirrors.xmission.com/fedora/core/development/ppc64/

My hardware is a pSeries 44P-170 (CHRP).

I have a Gentoo live-boot CD that I could use to boot system but once done that
how I have to proceed?

Thanks in advance

From OF command line (F8 during boot)
boot cdrom:1,\ppc\chrp\yaboot
and of I go...
99% it will work for you too, I have a 44P-170 too.

Well it did install eventually! Some misbehaving of the kernel/ofboot installer (didn't create a correct yaboot, didn't create a ramdisk including my symscsi...but nothing a chroot can't solve) but all well in the end.
I am a happy man!
I hope this goes further than just test someday.

Hopefully there will be a FC4 release (https://www.redhat.com/archives/fedora-devel-list/2005-January/msg00521.htmlPPC ).

Followed the above procedure but with a new FC5

System boots, linux64 as image, anaconda starts...
mouse, keyboard videocard (mga200) was releaved,
but after system hangs: blank screen, no cd-rom/hdd activity, nothing

Maybe issues with graphical installation?
