I am unable to boot the a Live USB image of Fedora 12 i686 on this brand new HP Mini 110-1125LA netbook. It DOES start the boot up process, but it invariably stalls (and hard-locks) at udev initialization. I've tried passing some kernel command-line options, but I'm not sure which to use, also I tried to look for information on "HP Mini" in the forums, but I find way too many totally unrelated posts. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Which boot options did you try?
If you consider the problems related to graphics, you could try these options
xdriver=vesa or
nomodeset
Another option would be to try the text mode installation.

I found this (http://forums.fedoraforum.org/showthread.php?t=234055) other thread (the title is not very descriptive, I must admit). I've tried all the tricks I had under my sleeve: nomodeset, noprobe, noapic/noioapic, even the other options they suggest there, to no avail. At this point, all I know is that I could install F11 on this machine and maybe wait for F13, as apparently the problems with this particular series has to do with some udev bugs... I could also try to generate another LiveUSB using revisor on my working F12 system.
