I have an old iMac indigo and I'm trying to install fedora core 11 on it (ppc cds). The installer is using yaboot 1.3.14.
Every time I try to install it it works to the exact same point and then hangs for about ten minutes or so then reboots. These are the last few lines it shows:
nvram: OF partition at 0x210
nvram: XP partitiobn at 0x1220
nvram: NR partition at 0x1320
arch: exit
zone PFN ranges:
DMA: 0x00000000 -> 0x00004000
Through all my searching I have not found anyone who has had the same problem, though I have found several people who have successfully installed FC11 on an iMac with no problem whatsoever.
Any help would be appreciated.
