Hi,
i have a WACOM Volito tablet, which works well under kernel 2.6.5 but not under 2.6.8. This behavior get even more weired, as my usb mouse and the tablet switched places: in 2.6.5 the mouse was /dev/input/mouse0 and the tablett was /dev/input/mouse3, under 2.6.8. /dev/input/mouse0 ist the tablet while /dev/mouse/mouse1 ist the usb mouse.
I actually got a running xserver in 2.8.1 while the mouse works well, the tablett seems to put the cursor somwhere above the displayarea. I went to the linux wacom projekt, but was not able solve the problem.
What irritates me the most is, that the tablet works WITHOUT any configuration in xorg.conf. That was not the case with either my old debian system nor my suse 9.1.
Strange things happen in those bits and bytes which live in my computer... :)
