Hello,
I just installed Fedora 11 a few weeks ago and noticed that my 7.3 GiB partition (gparted) is only 6.4 GiB big under crypt-luks and ext4. The partion was created by fedora installer during setup as custom layout. The rest of the 8 GB = 7.4 GiB USB-Stick is a 80 MB boot partition.
I backuped all data, created new crypt-luks partition with ext4 and I could use the full 7.3 GiB when using without journal and had 7.1 GiB free, when using journal. Of course I am using 0% reserved for root user.
So I wonder what happend to the space, and what great linux tools I don't know yet can tell me what ist going on.
I did succed in copying all data (including SElinux settings) to the new 7.3 GiB crypt-luks from the 6.4 GiB partion. The only problem was, that I could not boot my "new" 7.3 GiB root partition.
Any help in regaining my 0.9 GB space are greatly appreciated.
Best regards
