F12 on a MacBook Pro

I'm not sure if this should be here, or in the mac forum but I'm wondering how's the compatibility of the beta with a MacBook Pro (5,1).

Also it looks like the beta is somewhat "bleeding edge" How's the stability and reliability of it, yes I know its a beta so its a bit unstable. I'm really more concerned with the ability to load the nvidia graphics. That was a painful lesson to learn on F11 and I'd like to know upfront if it works.

NVIDIA proprietary driver on F12 Beta won't work without the tweaks from the thread about it elsewhere in this forum. With final release it should be okay. The default open source driver ought to work, but doesn't give 3D acceleration of course.
